Does the matre d tip cover the wait stuff or are you girls having a seperate tip per wait staff ? And I so how much and how do you know how many wait staff
The matre d tip doesn't cover the wait staff. However the 20% gratuity (it's either included in pp or added) is suppose to cover them.
My hall suggests $20 per table to be split by waitstaff. Maitre D is separate.
Maitre D is separate. My hall suggested giving about the same as the Maitre D for the waitstaff, but they split theirs.

Our contract specifically states that the 20% gratuity is not for the waitstaff. Check your contracts, ladies.
