I originally was going to have my parents walk me down...
now my dad is going to walk me down most of the aisle.. and my mom is going to meet us towards the front to walk me with my dad the rest of the way. But who walks my mom to the front of the church?

My grandpa walked my mom down the aisle. There's a picture of them in my album. Everyone thought the idea was adorable! If you have a living grandpa, I think it's such a cute idea and nice way to honor him and make him part of the ceremony.

Both our fathers are deceased, so we are planning on having the grandsons escort our respective mothers down the aisle, as my brother is walking me down.

My cousin (my mom's godson) is an usher, he is going to walk her down the aisle. I don't think it really matters anymore.

that's the thing... my oldest brother is in the bridal party, but if he walks with my mom, he won't be part of the bridal 'march', right? Hmmmm....
Also, we have an uneven # (more guys than girls), so my MOH would end up walking with a guy down the aisle, and we thought she was supposed to walk by herself down the aisle. Then walking back after the ceremony, she would have to have a guy on each arm to even it up.

Sarah, HOLA! You sound very confused. The moms are escorted down the aisle about 10 minutes before the bridal party walks down. The moms are not a part of the 'bridal march'. So, your brother would walk your mom down, then go to the back of the church and walk with his partner.
The MOH should walk down the aisle by herself......it's tradition.
As far as walking back, the MOH should walk back with the best man. Another bridesmaid should walk back with 2 groomsmen.
