I am considering doing this after returning from the Honeymoon (I am a teacher and unemployed during the summer.) The problem is I have NO experience at all. Are there any restaurants that hire without experience and don't make you work your way up to server?

Re: Waitressing as a second job . . .
I know from my experience that most restaurants will hire and train people with little to no experience. The only time I have ever seen experience be an issue is in fine dining establishments. Good luck!

I am was thinking of doing the same thing. I could use the extra money but I have absolutely no experience whatsoever.
