Wake-up time for puppies?
Hi girls,Well, it's only a few more days now until we pick up our baby Golem from the breeder!!
I just had a question though - from past experience, how much earlier do you have to get up in the morning to take care of your pup before leaving for work? I'm just curious because during the week I usually get up at 6:45, get ready and we're out of the house by 7:40 at the latest. On the weekends we're usually up by 8:00 AM. I know we'l have to be up earlier once the puppy is here, but I'm just not sure how much extra time we should be allowing yet. I'd love to hear what you girls do with your furbabies!
Thanks as always!!!

thanks so much :) I'm just trying to get a sense of a good timeline, so I'm not a bad doggy mom :)

Re: Wake-up time for puppies?
When Murphy was a puppy and we kept him in his crate in the kitchen he woke up when the sun came up, I guess the light woke him up and then of course he immediately had to go out. After a while we took him in our bed and now I have to practically drag him out of bed.

Re: Wake-up time for puppies?
I get up at 6:15, shower, let Bama out, feed him and play with him until 7:00 then put him in the crate and finish getting ready for work. DH gets up at around 8:00 and lets Bama out again before he leaves for work.

Re: Wake-up time for puppies?
i wake up about 10 minutes earlier now, and winnie is 2 1/2. when she was a puppy, she used to take a little longer to do her business, so i would wake up 15-20 minutes earlier.Welcome New Vendors
