Walk Run or Ride to Disney World!! A Team Effort!
From Bay Shore (where I live) to Orlando, Florida (Disneyt) is 1131 miles. For arguements sake, lets say 1100 miles.
For all of you who run, walk or ride...Whether it be on a track, treadmill, bicycle, elyptical machine or whatnot, use this thread to gauge your distance and see how long it takes to travel 1100 miles as a team.
No need to be 100% exact, just estimate the best you can.
Example:
I played 9 holes of Golf and walked (like always). The approxiamte distance of walking was 2 miles (I wasn't very straight today!)
I figured out by course yardage * 3 (feet/yard) plus added some distance for zig zags.
**** With my 2 miles, we are not 10,998 miles away from Disney.
I hope others will join me on the trip
