I haven't decided yet but i think both of them will walk me down the isle.

My friends have done different combos. My best friend had both of her parents but my others didn't (their mom's come from a different generation and felt funny about it).

As for me, I'm walking down solo. My Dad had a stroke and I'm 34. I've been caring for him for 7 years. I'm sure my brother would literally like to give me away

My mom said I would be erased from the earth if she didn't get to walk me down the aisle with my dad. So I guess she is going to. Its the ONLY thing that she has asked for in this whole wedding planning so I have no problem doing it.

Mom and Dad....Mom's been such a large part of my life - and I want to make sure she has a special role in the day.

Well i originally was saying i wanted both but my mom said that she thought only my dad should..she wanted all eyes on me.

Enter step-parents and then try and figure this out! I am closest to my mom, but will have my dad and my stepdad walk me down the aisle. I wish there were room for all 4 of my parents! I think my mom will be glowing as mother of the bride. She's never a shrinking violet and knows she holds a special place of honor that day (and every other day for that matter).
