Re: walking down the aisle
thank you
Re: walking down the aisle
The best man is usually standing at the altar already with the groom. MOH walks alone right before you.
Re: walking down the aisle
so if i do have it where the girls walk with the guys and if the best man stands at the altar does that mean that she would still walk alone right before me if i do have BM walk with GM
Re: walking down the aisle
In Jewish ceremonies, EVERYONE walks down the aisle. I mean EVERYONE as part of the ceremony. The Rabbi and/or Cantor goes first followed by the grandparents and then usually the male part of the bridal party. I had been in contemplation of whether or not to have my BP walk in pairs but then I realized we wer uneven - not that it bothers me - it doesnt. BUT I have a maid AND a matron of honor with only ONE best man andI would rather not triple people up unless we were walking back UP the aisle. So I decided that to give each member of the BP the honor they deserve, everyone will walk alone - they are gonna love me for this (but hey, I didn't make them ewar G-d awful dresses). Sometimes, the GM who is already at the end of the aisle, meets the BM/MOH about 3/4 of the way and continues back down the aisle.
