walking down the aisle

walking down the aisle

i don't know what to do.
either have bms walk down alone with gm waiting at the end already or have them walk down together.
we have equal on both sides. I just felt so awkward walking down by myself when i was a bm. I thought if they walk down together at least they are laughing and having fun walking down together.
but my mom, fh mom, both grandmas need to be escorted right. so that would mean 4 gm would sit them and then circle back to walk with bm.
Help I don't know what to do?

Either way.... We had our BM enter alone, My cousin (mom's godson) escorted my mother, grandmother and grandfather entered together, and DH's parents walked in with him....you could use GM to escort those guests or other escorts.

We're probably having the BM seat his mom and then circle back for his turn in the queue.

I think whatever you decide is fine. I think its nice that you're thinking of them and if they feel awkward or not - you could always ask them too.

Personally, having been in weddings that did it both ways, I prefer walking down with a groomsman......BUT....I don't kinda like the idea that everyone is walking down 'single' and walking back 'together'...... after you are married.... Just a thought!!
