How many of you think you will be crying?? I'm so scared I'm going to be a mess and overcome with so many emotions...........My mother is walking me down too, I'm scared that we both will be a mess.
Any tips from past brides?

i guess we will see on the day of, but i don't think i will be a crying mess, maybe once i am with FH at the alter i might get more emotional. as for my dad who is walking down the aisle, he was fine with my sister, smiling from ear to ear so i think it will be the same for me

I actually just posted about this in my review. I was terrified I'd be crying so hard walking down the aisle and I knew that as soon as I cried, my dad would cry too...
the morning of the wedding I woke up so calm and relaxed and didnt stop smiling the whole day. I really surprised myself.
I guess the only advise I can give is dont get caught up in the fear- you really may surprise yourself with how happy and smiley you are!!!

I thought I was going to be bawling and so nervous. People could not believe how calm I was. I was the calmest person in the limo, and all I did down the aisle was smile...tears did not even come into my head.
I think it's how you think about...I realized that I didn't want to cry because it was a happy day, and I wanted people to see how happy I truly was. I think it's also really helpful to have a good group around you in the morning.
A couple of my BMs and one of my MOH were with me all morning...along with some of the kids in the BP and a few other people...our videographer and hair stylist were fantastic...and I felt like they were old friends too. All morning, we were just laughing and hanging out--it was a great way to start the day.

Oh god I'm going to be a mess going down the aisle. Especially since I know my father and he's probably not going to be able to hold back the emotion so that's only going to make it worse!

I wasn't nervous the whole day. Not even a little bit. But when I heard the song I was meant to walk out to, it hit me. I started to tear up and my dad saw. He pulled a Metro Card out of his tux pocket and told me 'There's still time to make a run for it.' We laughed and I felt better and I walked down the aisle beaming.
Don't worry, even if you are crying, you'll stop once you see DH!

Even though i am going to see FH before the ceremony, i think i am going to be a wreck when i start the walk down the aisle... I am always an emotional mess and knowing that OK in a half hour from now i am going to be his wife, will just kill me ( in a good way of course)

I will be a mess LOL the song I am walking down to INSTANTLY makes me cry and I am walking with my mom and dad who got married in the same church.
Once my dad gives my hand to FH and I hug my dad OMG I'm going to totally break down LOL I just know it and I'm okay with that!

I thought I would be too. I was crying at everything leading up to the wedding, including commercials .. As my bridal party was walking down I was crying and my BA was fanning me so my makeup wouldnt run .. when the music changed and it was my time I walked really slow and took everything in .. I didnt cry ince - I was so so excited!! Once you see DH waiting for you you'll feel great! Promise

I have a feeling I may shed some tears. I am not prone to cry, but when I tried my wedding dress on I cried so I most likely will cry walking down the aisle. I actually hope he sheds a tear or two LOL

ill be a mess and so will my dad.
FH will prob start to tear when he sees me cry--- the difference is- he will be able to stop and i wont be! ahhh im soo nervous about this.
all i have to say is i am praying that i am like alot of the LIW girls who said the day of they didnt cry (even tho they normally do). keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm pretty sure I'll be crying too, one tip that my MU artist shared with me...make sure to wear water-proof MU, also ur MU artist should apply a liquid that is supposed to seal ur MU, making it even more resistant to water

I was fine the whole time, but as soon as I had to walk down the aisle I started to cry like a baby. It hit me like a brick all at once.

I will definitely be a mess that day. My mother and brother are giving me away. My dad passed away 11 years ago. Just the thought about my day brings me to tears....

I have a feeling I'm going to be a mess. And I know my dad is going to cry so that doesn't help! I cry at weddings even if I don't know the couple! Show me a wedding on TV, guarantee you I'll be shedding a tear

I'm hoping to not be a mess.. but i know with the first dance with my FH & dance with my dad i will be definately!! My dad had me in tears at my sweet16 & my sister & him in tears at her wedding!
