walking down the aisle to????????

Ok Im confused, I dont think I want the standard 'here comes the bride'. I was thinking about Canon in D, but that seemed more for the bridal party, Then there is the trumpet voluntery but I didnt know if that was appropriate. Then Fi suggests JESU, JOY OF MAN'S DESIRING by J.S. BACH. What is everyone else walking down the aisle to? any opinions?
Thanks

I used Canon in D, that song just gives me chills. I used Vivaldi's Spring for the bridal party.

Re: walking down the aisle to????????

I am using the love theme from Romeo and Juliet. I absolutely love Canon in D and I am using for our bridal party. I ended up going with my choice because I always have this crazy thing about doing something different! (It's sometimes backfires on my though

We did the complete opposite of Karen! BP wanted down to Canon, and we walked down to Jesu.

Re: walking down the aisle to????????

Bridal Party to Jesu, me to Here Comes the Bride.... There is just something about when those doors open and the organ starts..... It gives me the chills.

Recessional is hornpipe.

If I had a second choice for me down the aisle it would be trumpet voluntary... I think that is what Princes Di walked down to.. Very Grand.

The theme from Life is Beautiful. You can download it on www.kazaa.com if you want to hear it. It is an instrumental and will be played on the harp.

I haven't really decided yet. But Pachelbel's Canon always gives me the chills. It is just so powerful.

Re: walking down the aisle to????????

I'm walking down the aisle to the Bridal Chorus (Here Comes the Bride). I'm a ****er for tradition when it comes to things like this. There's something about the first few notes that give me a lump in my throat-even if I'm not the bride.

Play around with Kazaa-you can download all of these pieces and then just see what 'fits'.
