I went to the walmart after work yesterday in levittown.. last time i was there it was soo nice.. not this time.. its GROSS... things are thrown everywhere.. isles are all messy, nothing is where it should be and its anything but clean.. and the people that work there are HORRID!!!! they are very very rude... i waited on this line for like 5 minutes then the toothless casheir says im closed.. unreal..

then i go to this other line and the lady rings up my stuff and rips the credit card out of my hand and scans it and hands it back to me and NEVER says how much it costs!! im like *** and i actually said that at that point cause i figured look at what i am dealing with...but i didnt want to fight about it cause i had a MASSIVE headache and just wanted to get out of there..

ILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN! I must say that i think if they put a walmart up in bellmore ill move!

We went there on Sunday and my husband said the same thing. It was disgusting and hubby does not want to go there anymore. People just don't know how to take care of things.

Tammy on Jerusalem is the one in Uniondale. Once you go over a parkway its on your right hand side next to Shop Rite. Its across the street from Party City.

The out of state ones are definitely better than the ones in NY. Overall I think retail customer service outside of Long Island and all the boroughs is alot better.

I absolutely ABHOR WalMart. They treat their employees like sh it, they are the LARGEST distributer of music so it's OK for them to censor artists and they refuse to sell certain types of birth control pills as well as the 'morning after' pill. They have numerous cases of sexual harrassment filed against them. Ugh, the company absolutely disgusts me.

Well, Suzanne, my mom works there and she is very educated and has teeth. That really wasn't nice generalizations. She can work anywhere but chooses to stay with the Walmart Family.

My Mom works in the one in Middle Island, she actually waited on Liz once! :)

They are a wonderful company, according to my mother. The best company she ever worked for. They treat their employees very fair.

Anyway, I LOVE WALMART, I will say it again, I LOVE WALMART. They have such QUALITY merchandise. Blows K-mart away! I would say their quality is very close to Targets.

There is one is S. Setauket and my mom says they actually have a nail salon in the store and are opening a hair salon like JC pennys has. Its a Supercenter. I would decorate my whole house in Walmart if I could (if my DH would let me). They have very nice stuff, even clothes are decent!

Maybe you should check out another store.

Haven't been to the ones here yet. Actually I didn't even know we had them here until a few months ago

I wasnt generalizing. I was telling it like it is. The woman actually had NO TEETH that let me stand on line for a long time before telling me she was closed, in some kind of english that I did not recognize. The rudeness is when there are about 3 walmart store employees standing around chatting while I have to move 4 empty carts out of the way just to get past and not one of these people offered me ANY help. Rude is also trying to pick up a table that I wanted to buy (for scrapbooking) that was very heavy and watching a WALMART EMPLOYEE sit there and watch me do it and not even offer to help me. so i dropped it on the floor in the middle of the isle and walked away (not that anyone would notice since everything else was in the isle.) this is just a little of what I had encountered at the walmart store. Im sure its a great company, its just not a good store at east meadow. And i was treated with nothing but disprespect.

If you want to talk about RUDE I will n ever go again to MGM shoes across the street from walmart in east meadow!!! The girls are RUDE RUDE RUDE

I was walking around trying to carry three boxes, the cover fell off one of them and the worker looks right at me and doesnt pick it up or offer to take anything to the register
nothing!!! So I was walking around struggling and just left it there!! Kinda like you and the table SUE

she looks right at me and walked away then I asked a different girl a question and she was not helpful at all

Seriously, im not going to get into a dispute with you about this. I had a bad time at walmart..Sorry that you feel offended about what I said. I was talking in GENERAL ABOUT THE EAST MEADOW store.
