it was mentioned in the weight loss thread so lets actually do this...
Is this something alot of us would be interested in?? We could try to find a location for all of us to meet, or we can try for smaller groups in a bunch of different areas....What do you all think?

I'll all for a walking group. I live in East Meadow so Eisenhower Park is by far the best. I might run away though. Once I tried going for a 'walk' with FH and he was going too slow so I just ran the rest of the way. I lost him somewhere on Hempstead Turnpike?

wow we have a lot of people on the queens/nassau border!
i am in seaford which is on the s. shore like 10 min from the nassau/suffolk border. i am cool for wherever in nassau or western suffolk

I don't get home until about 6. But if you ever wanted to do a walk thing around the area I'd be up for it anytime after that. There's lots of places like the tracks at the local schools, or even centenial gardens if there open, I usually walk my dog around the parameter of it.

cute!! my maltese is Madison n my mini is Rocky!!!
hes my baby.. i actually bout madison for my mom but whn i moved rocky was lonely so i took her...lol my mom has 2 other dogs n madison sleeps at her house occasionally lol... they have sleepovers at grandmas lol..

I'm up for it. Havent read the whole thread (so forgive me if this is a repeat) but what about the boardwalk at Jones Beach? Or walking one of hte malls, then we can window shop while we walk lol (my grandmother used to do this to keep in shape)
