Warning! Just went to Adrennes for dress, must read! Long

I went to Adrennes in Islip on Friday because I read some good things about them on this sight. I thought they would have a good selection of gowns for me and my maids. I had a 12:00 appointment and arrived on-time. I waited for 20 min. and was getting annoyed because they couldn't have cared less that I was still sitting there. They took another bride before me(i'll get to her later). So we started looking by ourselves. At 12:30 I was so mad we walked out, on our way to the door we finally spotted the person who was originally at the desk and she didn't care that we left! Back to the other bride... Bumped into her and her maids in the parking lot. Her wedding was Saturday(the next day!) And her dress was not ready!!!! she was having a horrible time. Warned all of us to go ANYPLACE else. Her maid story was just as bad! I ended up going to Angels bridal. They are the best!! The nicest ladies you could work with! Please go there instead.

I got my dress at Angel Bridal and they are great!

They are so nice and I go for my fist fitting on Friday. I also had a bad experience with Adrienne's.

We got our dresses from Adrienne's for my best friends wedding a year or so ago, and they ordered all of the wrong style dress for all 6 bridesmaids!! We found this out at our fitting which was RIGHT before the wedding.... we got our REAL dresses like three days before the wedding.. I will definitely NOT go there for my wedding!!

Angel bridal is located at 39 Main St(Montauk Hwy) in East Islip, on the North side of the street. Their phone numberis (631)581-3330. Adrennes is on the same road only further west. Yes, it is the one in the large victorian house. Stay away.
