had half of my thyroid removed this morning. there was an egg (!) sized nodule growing in it, which was visible to the naked eye.

it will heal fine im sure...its ina good spot, it will blend in with the natural lines of your neck...
keep it OUT OF THE SUN! wear sunblock like 70spf allll the time!!! seriously...when the sun hits new skin it will burn and it will turn purple- very hard to reverse that once its done...
trust me on this one...when i had my appendix out, i didnt listen, i baked the entire summer in the sun...my scar is still purple and that was 13 yrs ago!
anyway, feel better soon!!!!
