she is okay now, just trying to stay off her feet as much as possible. they sent her home from the hospital late wednesday night. thanks for asking

Awww hunny hope you have a fast and speedy recovery! I know you are going to hear a zillion different ways of keeping it from scaring. Vitamin E (Pure poke a hole in a capsule vitamin E), helped with my scaring after my surgery and also I also kept this Coco Butter stick in my purse, kind of like a chapstick stick just to keep it from drying out.

had half of my thyroid removed this morning. there was an egg (!) sized nodule growing in it, which was visible to the naked eye.
wow they have come a long way. my mom had that yearsssss ago and she had staples in her neck and the scar was across her entire neck..cant see the scar anymore though

I had about 90% of my thyroid taken out when I was 16 . It will heal fine and you will feel so much better.

I just had a cyst removed and have a couple of small nodules that they are monitoring. If they grow I will probably have to have the same procedure. Are they putting you on any medication for hormones?
