Warning - this is a vent

Hi everybody, haven't been on in a while. My grandmother past away. The I found out I am losing my job. Being that my fh already lost his job, that was the worst news possible. So wedding stuff has just been depressing to talk about. We are in the process of decided to continue or postpone, as we were a few months ago when he got his letter. UHHH is it always this hard. Anyway, glad to be back reading posts...i forgot how happy they make me!

I'm in the same situation.... we're not postponing -- we're collecting unemployment and job hunting.

There are jobs out there... just depends on what you wanna do.

We have family to catch us if we fall, so i think we are going to try to push through (possibly change the venue which can save us big $) and hope for the best come september (we are both teachers) I feel for everyone out there going through the same thing.

so sorry to hear about all of that. It's rough. I remember before my wedding - me & DH were afraid that we'd have to postpone also. Actually postponing wasn't an option because we WERE gonna get married around the time planned. But the whole 'wedding' was in danger. It was a scary time for me and it made wedding planning so depressing all of a sudden because I was afraid that it wouldn't happen, and that we'd have to just go to a court house instead. But everything worked out better than I could have ever imagined and I wish so badly that I wouldn't have let it get me down during that time. It really took the joy out of planning, but luckily only for a couple of weeks. I hope things work out for you also and that you get the wedding of your dreams Try to stay positive.
