I am kinda in the same boat. And to top things off, my mom invited men which is ok but now FH has invited all of his friends and wants to turn into some type of beer party.

Think of it this way. With men there as well, now you guys get more gifts!

I actually wanted to do a jack and jill shower, but FH was not having it.

FH warned me that I may be dissapointed with the where and its somehwhere I can't stand, I have an idea, but some of my girls are going above and beyond to make it special.

I am just really grateful I am having one since I didn't expect one since my mom isn't around to pay for it.

Awww Sis- i dont want to take away from your day. Its your shower. Like I said the people at work will be giving me one so I am happy with that!
