He was disgusting. He was saying that b/c of the provocative way that women dress in the US, that THAT is the reason the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11th.
He also went on to say that if ALL women covered themselves up in bhurka's(sp??), then women would not be raped. (Blatantly disregarding the fact that the bhurka didn't stop men from raping women in Afghanastan.

Yes, I did! I am almost never in the car at that time, but I caught that BS. Maryanne calls all the time, but I think that might have been the first time.
I feel so bad for that man's daughter who was raped. She must be so screwed up by her father blaming her rape on all American woman for dressing provocatively

Oh, you missed his extremely ignorant theory that rape is caused by woman dressing provacotively, causing men to lust after them. He thinks that if all woman wear burkas (sp?), then they wont get raped. When Howard pointed out that woman are regularly raped in Afghanastan, the professor said he had never heard anything about that.
I wonder if that crazy man is still pushing for legislation requiring all woman to cover up.
