I got home today to unwrap my new veil and I was so excited. I put it on and it looked gorgeous and I thought the Etsy vendor did a great job. As I was admiring the craftsmanship, I noticed that 75% of the veil has clear beads and the rest of the 25% of the veil has colored beads. And its not like it was used like a pattern but all the colored beads and clumped on one side. $83 and it looks like an school craft project. I'm so disappointed
I've attached the pic. It's a lot more noticeable in person. I contacted the vendor and I'm waiting for her reply.
Vendor replied back and she said it was a mistake and she is sorry. She wants me to send back the veil for her to redo it.
I really don't feel like dealing with the post office and I'm worried that she won't get it. I've been really pessimistic lately with everything going on. Am I just letting my feelings get the better of me? Should I just send it back and believe everything will be fine?

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but at least the vendor is willing to fix it - which is a good thing. There are some vendors that would say, 'Oh well, order another one!'. I think you should send it back & tell her specifically how you want it & anything else you noticed about the veil. Its a good price so even though you have to deal with the post office, you are still saving money. Take a deep breath & smile!

Sometimes things just seem to go wrong all at once. But think of it this way...when things are going right we don't give it a second thought. You're planning a very big event with many, many details... involving many people! It's work but it'll all be worth it in the end.

You still have a lot of time. Send it back and let her fix it, and give her a firm date (way before your wedding) that you MUST have it back or you want a full refund.
You can do all the postage online btw, it's super easy.

Send it back. I'm sure the vendor will make it a priority since it was their mistake and it will turn out how you imagined it would.
I think it's easy to get down with all this planning when something you were excited about doesn't go your way, but just think, you have barely over two months until the big day and you won't be feeling down then!

Totally sucks to go through that but like the other ladies have said, at least the vendor is taking reaponsibilty and is willing to fix it. Def send it back and have her fix it. Make sure to get a tracking # for your package so you can keep tabs on it. I hope the vendor is covering your costs to ship it back!

The vendor is really being nice about it and I can tell it was a sincere mistake. I'm going to show the veil to other people to see if they notice the difference. I took another look at the veil and the middle of it is fine. It's just the ends that don't match so that's about 4 inches on each end

Have her fix the mistake. I learned from my wedding that I needed to speak up. I realize you don't want to be a bridezilla but you also need to voice your dis-satisfaction. You are spending a lot of money and your wedding should reflect this. Also, how will the veil photograph in photos?

I think it will photograph fine. I only noticed the mismatch bc I was examining the veil. FH comes back today so I will show him. I really wish I could show you ladies instead!
