my best friend is VERY into kids and babysitting... but her wedding proved why so many people have ' no kid' weddings.... she had 3 flower girls and 2 ring bearers all under the age of 5... which made the rehearsal and taking pics VERY interesting... her family is from SC and is really conservative southern baptist so there was no alcohol, which is respectable, but i think maybe they should have had a cash bar so people could drink if they wanted to.... she had about 40 kids all running around at the reception. they had a separate area for the kids with somebody doing arts and crafts and stuff- which was nice, but whatever they were payin her, it wasn't enough so the kids were all running around on the dance floor all night, so none of the adults really got up to dance- and so a lot of peole started leaving around 8, when it was supposed to go till 10. i felt bad, but my friend didn't seem to mind. one thing they did do that i liked was during the ceremony they had each set of parents write letters to them, and the minister read them during the ceremony- i was soo teary-eyed!! it was a neat sentimental touch. anyway... just thought i'd share cause i've never seen a wedding like it... and it really proved why so many people do no kids weddings!

Wow you really have to love kids to do that! But whatever makes you happy.
