Was just curious if there were any interacial couples on this site....

FH is guyanese and I am ecuadorean/peruvian. So far we have had only one cultural problem in planning this wedding...day after wedding his parents are throwing us a party to celebrate the occation therefore not allowing us to travel to our honeymoon unitl a few days later but I dealt with it, wasnt a biggy...anyone had problems with the different cultures or forsee any problems throughout the marriage?

No big cultural differences here only because we are both from european families ... however FH's mother thinks that she should invite her whole town from croatia to our wedding!..lol However I do have friends that are Guyanese and I heard that their weddings last all weekend long!! that is so cool .. I wish I could have two weddings back to back ... consider youself lucky to be celebrating you marriage all weekend!! I'm not leaving on my HM till Monday and getting married on a friday!

Crashing...my DH is European (Russian background) and I am half European, half Japanese. No cultural difficulties bec we both grew up on LI He is Jewish and I'm not so we had parts of our ceremony from a traditional Jewish ceremony (like him crushing the glass).

Yesss...... MY FH is from Bangladesh and I'm from the domincan rep. Hahhahhaaha major differences!!! We have had some issues well his mom and i cause she thinks that everything about her culture is absolutely the best!!!!
