I'm a legal secretary. My firm is closing its Long Island office come February 1st.
Words cannot express how mad I am.
This blows.

Thank you ladies for all your help. I really do appreciate it. I am already sending out the old resume. So with any luck I will be employed again soon.
I do want to stay local so NYC is out.

sorry did the firm offer you a position at their other locations? are they far? you mentioned the LI office is closing maybe if you ask they would transfer you? Good luck
