Was just wondering.......

this is what the brown, orange and green look like together.

alot of light colors though in the LR to break it up...the couches will be a beige color so the decor will involve those 3 colors

plus we have plates, napkins and other things in those colors

That's my living room colors right now. Olive couch, beigeish walls with ivory and brown accents, little deep red/orange accents as well. And we have espresso brown coffee and end tables.

in my head........

kitchen: moss green

living room: light lemony yellow

dining room: light blue/navy accents

den: taupe

bedroom: blue

no idea anything else

You have such great taste yeah i realized after fh and i decided this that my LR has sort of the same color scheme. More burnt orange than green stuff though but dark wood, chai latte walls, beigh couches, and burnt orange accents

hmm lets see,

for the LR i did a sage green couch with glass tables with tile inlays of blues & greens

the DR - i did cherry & black table/chairs - the tops are cherry and the legs and arms are distressed black with beige cushions

the den - is old furniture but it's very fall colors and very flowery - they will be replaced after the wedding

the bedroom furniture is cherry

the kitchen cabinets are medium oak with blue granite counters

the whole house is painted bone white which gives it just the right amount of a beige color and white mouldings

it's a work in progress, but i love it

i think i put that one on my registry but did it online, i remember thinking about it so now im confused lol

this one we definitely did in the store

Great minds think alike. Yeah, I used to work at Crate & Barrel part time and we got a good discount so I bought most of our living room furniture from there. Best use of a part-time job discount ever! For my bedroom though, right now I have a black/white/gray/brick red scheme going one (C&B bedding set as well) but I registered for a brown/tan/neutral bedding set at Macys.

YEAH A BUNCH of my stuff in the LR is from crate and barrel, i love that store

yay! i like this topic seeing as we just moved into our new place and are in the process of decorating. so far the bathroom is white tiled (couldn't help that - apartment living) with brown, teal, and tan. the bedroom has white walls (once again, can't change it) with really dark black/brown wood and bold red. in the living room (once again white) my couch is green, the wood is dark, and i'm mixing in some orange, brown, red, and purple. the kitchen is really tiny and attached to the living room and it's also all white so we're bringing in the colors of the living room. i also have some nice 70's looking appliances (toaster oven and microwave).

i'm a big fan of 70's retro combined with contemporary styles so that's gonna be the look of the place. i also HATE white walls but since i can't help it i'm bringing in as much color as i can.

We both like deep red and this dark gold/brownish color my friend has
Other than that--he doesn't care, once we get a house he just wants the basement, I can have the rest of the house
