Was this weird? UPDATE on bottom

My MOH is getting married one month after I am.

I get her STD, it's addressed to Me and guest.

Uhm, shouldn't it have been addressed to Matt and I?

We've been living together for over 2 years and together for 5 and a half....

That was weird, no?

That IS strange. Maybe she didnt address them? Also, I'd never put 'and guest' on an STD.

That is odd. Maybe someone other than your MOH addressed them and didn't know any better?

Thats what I thought, no 'and guest' on a std. I can't tell if it's her writing.... I don't get it... I want to ask her, but I think it's better not to. A few mo ago, she got drunk and told me that she thought she and her fh were 'better' then FH and I. We've talked it threw, but I'm afraid if I ask about it, she'll get all defensive... Oh well, guess I'll live in wonderment.

Weird wedding bring out such weird sides in people. I know now why engagements break up and why friends stop talking after weddings! I think it'll be OK tho. Some people don't pay as much attention to these details as others.

My MOH was going to address her wedding invites to a co-worker who's name is Virginia as 'Ginny'-- I had to correct her!! Don't take it personally....at least for now!

Weird but not as weird as the convo I had last night with FH about someone's name we have to put on an invite.

He is called RJ by everyone, including his fiancee. I was asking FH about what his actual name is, because I'm trying to be proper, and FH just says 'just put RJ on the invite'. I'm saying no, because we should put his name not his nickname!! And FH still says to put the initials.

Its really more likely she or someone else just goofed. If your really concern, ask her about. Ask if there is something wrong and try to clear the air.

The same thing happened to me recently. My friend sent me an invite 'Katie & Guest'. I'm like...hellllllo...you have met my fiance Chris 35 times! I thought it was a little strange.

i just went through this process again for the eigthieth time and i'll tell you my experience with guest lists....

you miss things!!!!

i've given my FMIL and FH the list about 20 times and they would give it back with a couple of changes here and there. Well, guess what...for the last year I have been spelling an entire family's name wrong. On engagement annoucnements, On the STD, on the engagement invites, on the shower thank you's. it wasn't until i compared two different lists (my FMIL's shower list and my list) that I realized that I was never given the right name.

There are other people I've spelling wrong. There are probably people on this list that I wrote 'guest' and meant to put the guy's name.

I made a concerted effort to put the names of all fiance's. I didn't worry about long-term boyfriends.

My opinion is that it was probably an oversight and not to read into it.

It is weird but then again she may not have addresses them herself. I would let it go. wait until you receive the wedding invite and then if it happens again say something!!!

I think that is odd. That happened to me as well. I was in my best friends wedding and she has known my FH LONGER than she has known me! They went to elementary school together! She addressed it to me and guest... He was hurt!
