I want to start tonight but I'm afraid FH won't want to go. I just want to register for our china, flatware and crystal and then go back another time, but I at least want to get started.
Was your FH open to registering, or did you have to promise to let him use the scanner gun to convince him to go?

I let him hold the gun and we registered at William Sonoma. He's the cook, not me.

mine's kinda dragging his feet. although, he's actually excited about going to the fortunoff wedding survival party b/c there's competition involved in some of the games & stuff.

It definitely wasn't on his top ten favorite things to do list, but he knew how excited I was about doing it so he went....and yes I had to let him hold the gun. He really didn't care much about the china, but was more interested in the appliances. As for the bathroom and bedroom sets he said I could pick it out on my own....just no super girly stuff!

We just went today, and he was more into it than I was He loved the gun and the fact that we got to pick out all these great things, and didn't have to pay for them.
Thank God for him, I am so indecisive I would still be there now trying to pick our China. Love FH

Well let's just say that when he realized that I was not going to let him scan the Keg-O-Rator he's excitement level went down quite a few notches!!!

Are you kidding we havent gone yet but he has tons of ideas and cant wait to use them at Fortunoff and he wants to register at Home Depot(we dont own a home ) When we were expecting our son we registered at a baby store and I wasnt allowed to use the gun and he went crazy. I think I actually lost him in the store for alittle bit

he loved the scanner gun, we have to go again, we just did a few things so people could get us engagement gifts off of there since we did not have a party.

We just registered today FH wanted to register, but more because it's on our 'to do' list and he's all about being efficient with wedding stuff. I had a pattern that I liked and we registered for that first, and then he helped pick the stemware and the flatware. He was really funny when we were scanning bakeware. There were rows and rows of things, and so he made me start at the top row and work my way down. I got excited about muffin pans and skipped a row, and he's like 'Did I say we were done with the current row? Get back here!'
