I was at Flowerfields Sunday night. The place was gorgeous. The cocktail hour room is awesome, and the cocktail food was very good. They put out a huge spread. The service was fantastic, the only thing was that the service was too good. Everytime I left a drink at my table to dance, when I got back it was gone. There were 220 people at the wedding and the dance floor was very roomy and tables were not squeezed in tight. The reception room was very big and comfortable. The only snag in the whole wedding was that a bus full of people coming from the Garden City hotel got lost. How does a professional bus company get lost? This bus included the brides parents and her brothers and sisters. The grooms army buddies from Tenn. army base were also on this bus. They got to the cocktail hour 10 minutes before the reception started. I'm not sure who the bus company was but I hope the bride and groom let their voices be heard. They had a 9 piece band, this band was one of the best I ever heard, the dance floor was packed all night. They also had a 3 piece Greek band that was a lot of fun.
