Watch what you say in public, b*tches! VENT!

I am so furious. Forgive me for venting to you poor innocent bystanders.

FH and I were just out to dinner (in our area of NJ) and some fugly beeotch starts LOUDLY ragging on a girl I guess she knows who is getting married. PS on our table in plain sight is a bridal gift catalog I got today to show FH groomsmen gift ideas.

She exclaimed how tacky the wedding photo image postage stamps are (I think they are cute and for new babies too!) and the thing that really got me was this comment - something about how it's incredibly tacky and wrong for family to throw a bridal shower and that it's the bridal party's job and I swear she said she isn't attending because the family is asking for gifts by doing this.

I loudly say to FH, 'Not all bridesmaids have the money for such parties and in some families grandma's, sisters, aunts or godmothers and/or other family prefer to plan and organize it.'

FH hates any sort of confrontation, he calls me 'a Strong Island Eye-Talian' and begged me to pipe down and let it go... but I'm sorry, I just don't know how to bite my tongue. Call me nasty, whatever.

So on my way out, I couldn't help but give her a dirty look and accidentally scratch my back with my middle finger so FH wouldn't know I was still mad.

Sorry this was so long, but it felt really good to get that out. Ha ha.

He better learn to live with confrontation, I had to my FH is Italian and he is the SAME way!!!

haha the stupid biotches probably dont even realize why they are getting evil eyes but i wouldnt be able to hold back either

oh man people r stupid!

my crazy people at a restaurant story.....
one night my friend & I are in Chili's. Near us there is a table of 2 women and their large group of children (there were at least 6 kids). The ladies were downing BOTTLES of wine and getting loud, their kids were screaming, running around, one kid took his shoes off and walked on the table! Sorry I couldn't help but stare, along with all the other customers. But for some reason one of the ladies picked up on me looking at them. On their way out the lady walks past my table and screams 'F you Biotch' and gave me the finger! Everyone's jaws dropped. The guys at the next table tuned around and asked 'did she really just say that to you?' Yep she was crazy and getting in the car totally plastered to drive her kids home.

OMG- I so would have got her license plate # and called the cops on her- thats nuts!!

So...now people aren't allowed to discuss their opinions on a topic with the person they're with in a public place because someone who disagrees might be around?

IMHO- You should've just minded your own business. If she's not going to YOUR wedding, why should you care how she feels? A simple roll of your eyes to your FH would've sufficed.

I'll have to remind myself to examine people's tables to make sure they have no paraphenalia on the subject I want to talk about so no one gives me the finger while I'm out to dinner.

im sure that i've overheard people have conversations that i dont agree with but i never let it get to me.....you shouldnt let it bother you that much - getting mad over things like that isnt worth it....what is ironic is that to the other patrons in the restaurant you may have come off as immature - because just like you were listening to their conversation i bet people were listening to yours - KWIM? thats why sometimes its better to just laugh it off and not let it get your blood boiling...i know its easier said than done though! especially when people really get on your nerves!

LOL.. .. I think the point is that the other person was hitting a nerve with our LIW bride.
I would have went with an eye roll too.. and continued with my dinner.. but I can see her point too

omg I try so hard not to say things sometimes since FH hates it so much but I cant help it!!!

In the bridal store the other day some bm was complaining to the owner about the color that was picked for her friends wedding. MY COLOR!! she was going on and on and I guess I was insulted since it was happening right in front of me. So I told her that was my color as well and everyone loved it...she turned beat red!!
