We are booked there! They were the last RH we visited and we knew it was the one! Which room are you looking at? Upstairs or downstairs?

It was actually one of the 1st places we looked at and we both fell compltely in love - but it was way out of our bidget (for Sept wedding)... we ended up switching to Feb 2014 to save money. After looking at 15 places no other place compared!
When we went and looked the first time, I believe we only saw the room on the first floor and the BEAUTIFUL chapel. Can I pick which room I want? I want that chapel!! haha - which room are you using? Are you having an onsite ceremony as well? Also - are the prices the same in March as they are in Feb?
Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm so excited to have someone to get advice from!

Vanderbilt room is downstairs - day weddings you need 150 min. I believe night was 200.

I think the Astor Suite is the one we saw. The room with the lighter wood dance floor. It was gorgeous. I can only guarentee 120. Am i thinking of the right room? Maybe it was upstairs and my brain is just flooded from looking at too many places lol

Was your ceremony onsite? If so, which chapel did you use? Can you pick which room/chapel you want?

I was not offered the chapel. I could only get married outside or in the vanderbilt room if raining.

I'm using the chapel & Astor room! Love both and so excited. Watermill is beautiful and everyone is soooo nice to work with!!! I had the same experience as FutureMrsSweeney. They were the last place we saw and we were actually already decided on someplace else but we went anyway. FH was like they are going to have to blow us away AND THEY DID!!! Good luck!!

My cousins booked there! It is a beautiful place! I think there is a minimum number of people you need to guarantee in order to use the downstairs ballroom but it was NICE

Do they let you schedule a tasting before you book?

they brought us in food from the san gennero table that they were setting up because DH saw that on the menu, but that was the only tasting that we had. I did not know they did not do a tasting of your menu choices. I would push for a tasting before you sign a contract or try to get them to include on in your contract. But the food was fantastic. we had 5 choices for the entrees and everyone said they were all great. Cocktail hour was fantastic I'm told.
