watermill brides

My menu selection is in 2 weeks. Do we get to actuallly do a tasting, or do we just select food from a list? TIA

No, no food was tasted. But you could ask your BM if they can set that up for you.

no tasting....but make sure you put something with mozzerella in your coacktail hour or appetizer. The chef at the Watermill has won national awards for his Mozzerella...and it really is that good.

I heard they don't do food tastings. I also heard that the chicken w/mozz and asparagus is fabulous. Have fun!

Thanks for the menu suggestions! I would like to set up a tasting too, but I don't know if they will.

Anything else I should know to put on the menu? We are going in about 2 weeks.

I wonder if the Beef w/Broccoli is any good. I saw that on the menu and it's my favorite Chinese dish...

All the food there is really good, I don't think you could go wrong with any of your choices.

That is what I picked!!!

They really work with you...we picked 8 chaffing dishes & talked to them about what they thought worked & they are making us 2 dishes that weren't even on teh menu so that was exciting. We are also combining the appetizer & salad courses so our guests can enjoy themselves more. We also got an upgraded cake thrown in.

There is about 1 or 2 that I liked out of the book of included cakes. I personally wanted a square cake which is a fondant cake which makes it extra. The cake I wanted was $350 additionally & he threw it in for us. I hear that with some halls when you have a definite number of peopel they may throw more stuff in. I got alot of stuff thrown in b/c my aunt's boss is very friendly with the scotto brothers--so they gave us cordial bar, ice sculpture & strawberries w/t the toast. Then they threw in teh cake. We also got a discount on the raw bar b/c I uped my minimum. Anyway they are willing to work with you at least that has been my experience. Happy planning--from what I have experienced so far--us watermill brides are in VERY good hands.
