Watermill Brides <3

I was just wondering for those who are using the Watermill..Are you guys taking pictures with your bridal party outside at the Watermill? or are you going somewhere else to take the pictures? I am having a hard time trying to decide because the grounds at the Watermill don't seem big enough for my bridal party. Thanks!

I am having the same problem!! Right now we are really unsure what we want to do. I think we are going to take some family photos at the church and then our bridal party pictures somewhere else. Then during CH and the reception we will probably take a few more of just us in front of the watermill and the little waterfalls and stuff. Hopefully we have time for it all!

Where were you thinking of taking outside pictures? We were thinking Northport Harbor

We are going to take pictures at my church, then travel to a different location with my BP, and then head to watermill to take more of the family shots. I like Watermills grounds but I also have a big gap between my ceremony (2:30) and CH (7:00). I plan to try to take my pics in Northport or at a park by my church.

FH here, How big is your wedding party? A friend of mine got married there a couple years back. We took pictures there. I think the wedding party was around 14 people, and the pictures came out great. Talk to your photographer see what they say. They may have a few suggestions.

Crashing...

I got married there...We took our pics at Northport Harbor. LOVED it there. There's a bunch of pics in my album if you want to see. We didn't take too many pics at the Watermill also because there were other weddings happening at the same time (I think 2 other ones that same night), so too much going on, plus it's nice to have different surroundings for the pics. We also liked Port Jefferson Village/port area - you can look there also. Hope this helps!
