What room is your cocktail hour in? Anyone in the restaurant - or are you in the other room - I forgot the name of it.

Cocktail hour will be in the garden if it is nice out. I am hoping it is. If not, restaurant. I have the upstairs room for the reception. Did you do your menu yet?

Hi ! i'm a July watermill bride ! My cocktail hour will hopefully be outside and we have the Astor suite- upstairs. please keep my updated on how everything goes with the menu and stuff!

I am also hoping it is nice out for the outdoor cocktail and then the vanderbilt room downstairs.

I have no clue what i am gonna pick off that menu yet!

You know i never asked whether there is an attendant in the bathrooms with stuff because I hate those tip cans, they are so rude, i can get soap myself! I want to put a basket in the ladies room for my guests on my own that they can help themselves too, do you guys know if i could do this?

Hello All

I am getting married at the Watermill on July 12 of next year. I am having the reception in the Astor Room. I am attending a wedding at the Watermill on October 26th. The party is going to be in the room downstairs. I plan on taking plenty of notes on all of the details. I will keep all of the Watermill brides posted.

We had our wedding at The Watermill last September. I cant say enough good things about them. We were in the Astor room for the reception and in the two rooms with the double fireplace (cant remember the name) for cocktails. You have made a great choice.

im getting married their in 5 days my room is the astor room and the cocktail room is the far back room with the two fireplaces (name?) i'll let you know how it turns out

Is the two rooms with the fireplaces what used to be the restaurant - the room with the carpet or the hard wood floors? (Just trying to make some decisions)

no im not having the ch in the restaurant althoug i know what you are talking about. The Room i'm having it in is the far back room that you can see from the front entrance. The restaurant is to the right of that. I was told that for my time the cocktail hour had to be in a certain room or outside.

We went to a wedding there Saturday. The reception was downstairs. The room was beautiful and the food was delicious!

Just a note on the menu ~ We had a sea bass as the fish entree and it was out of this world. I think it was Chillian Sea Bass Livornese. Its not on their standard menu but they didnt charge any extra for it.

This past weekend a friend of ours was telling me how much he loved the food at our wedding - a year later. I would love to do it over again I didnt really eat much at the cocktail hour and thats my favoriate part. Agin you have maed a great choice ladies.

Does anyone know how many menus there are? I think my is the Prestige. I am not sure though. For those who had there weddings at the Watermill what menu did you have and what entrees did you go with.

There is an upgraded menu they offer to you when you go to pick your menu - for an extra charge. We are picking tomorrow!
