Watermill Brides...

Does the Watermill provide menus for the guests the day of the wedding? I made my own, but have not printed them yet and the thought occurred to me that they might already do them.

I have been to a couple of weddings at the Watermill, I am also getting married there myself. I never remeber seeing menus.

I just got back from the watermill, (to pick the menu). They did not mention anything about providing a printed menu

I dont think many placesdo this anyway, I ususlaly have a waiter that comes around and tells you the choices so I dont think it is a big deal to not have it but if you are into making menus I say go for it

I am also getting married at the Watermill and I don't remember them saying anything about a printed menu. I think your idea of printing one out is good.

Re: Watermill Brides...

Just called to make an appt to pick my menu and I have to say that I am not at all impressed with their customer service. I've called 5 times the past week to make my menu appt and ask some questions. Finally a manager called me back on Saturday b/c I told the receptionist that it was urgent. I was so happy to finally be able to speak with someone that I asked all of my questions and totally forgot to make my appt to pick my menu!!! I had a couple of questions that would help me book my limo with timing and all. Anyway, I spoke with a manager today and was really not impressed with him. I felt like I was causing him a problem. I explained that I lived in San Diego and will only be in NY one weekend before my wedding in July so I had to do it then. Anyway, it just annoyed me.

We were married there in September.
I made my own menus.
They didn't do them then, but they did comment on how nice mine were, and I think they might have even kept one. Maybe they were looking into doing them?

I spent a lot of time on mine. I'm so gald I did! They looked great on the tables. Here's what they looked like. I did two per table.

Re: Watermill Brides...

AmyKay, I did get my appt. to pick the menu. Unfortunately, it was not a time that is too convenient for me, but oh well. I only have 3 days to choose from. I was just disappointed b/c I felt that they should have gone out of there way more b/c of my difficult situation, but they made it seem like I was inconveniencing them. My DJ on the other hand has been fabulous and VERY flexible with meeting times and phone calls.
