Watermill brides-Hotel suggestions
Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels to stay at near the watermill. I want to block out some rooms for out of town guests and friends. I want it to have its own bar/lounge for those who want to hang out after the wedding.Any suggestions?

The Wyndwatch in Haupppauge is good, so is the Marriott on the service road too.

The Holiday Inn Express has a free shuttle service to and from the Watermill. They do not have a bar for drinks but you do save a ton of money with the shuttle service.

We blocked rooms at the Smithtown Sheraton. Got a good price, $109 per room.I would have checked out the Holiday inn express if I had known about the shuttle service.
Oh well, too late now. I thought the Sheraton was nice anyway.

The Wyndham Wind Watch is very nice and they have a large lounge they will keep open late if you ask. I got a rate of $139. The Marriott Islandia (on the service road) is also nice. It is our back-up. The rate there is $159.

Re: Watermill brides-Hotel suggestions
I would suggest the Wyndham Windwatch. They were my first choice, but you have to guarantee rooms with your credit card to get the group rate, and I had no idea how many would be coming. We bloced rooms at the Hampton Inn on Vets near the Expressway Exit 57 ($135), and the Econolodge on Vets near the airport ($84). Most of our guests are staying at the Econolodge because it's $50 cheaper a night. It's not glamorous or anything, but it's clean.
Hope this helps.

Yes, the Sheraton has a bar in the lobby. Looks nice! The hotel just had an 8 million dollar renovation this year, it had better be nice!
