My fiance and I started looking at photographers this weekend... We started with two of the 'Watermill recommended photographers' and thought they were ok.. however, since I kept hearing about Duet we went and checked them out... We were SOOO impressed- both with prices and their work...
We only are concerned because we originally wanted to go with someone recommended by Watermill thinking they would be the most familiar with the grounds... Has anyone used or will be using Duet at the Watermill?
Please give me any of your thoughts good or bad...

I didnt use duet but I did use Jeffery Studios..Are they still through the watermill..They did Amazing work

we met with the watermill suggested vendors, and weren't usually all that thrilled with them...so we went and found our own for most things. i heard somewhere that the watermill gets a percentage for the vendors we book that they recommended, so i had a slight problem with that.....

Jeffrey Studios is still recommended by the watermill and they do such good work my sister used them and i am too

I didn't get married at WAtermill, but I did use Duet & I was their first wedding at Timber Point & they were very good about scouting out & finding great places for shots.

I'm getting married at the Watermill and we aren't using any of the vendors they suggested. We're not using Duet, but our photogapher is familiar with the Watermill- Spelman Studios.

Most repuatble photographers don't have to 'know the grounds' - I think you'll be fine w/ Duet whether they've done 2 weddings or 200 weddings there. - I think you should go w/ your gut on the photographer's work and price- Personally I didn't like the Watermill's recommended either

We're using Duet and the Watermill. Duet did say that they have done weddings at the Watermill before. I'm not worried. I love their work

I am not getting married at the Watermill and I am using Leli Photo . I would go with who ever made me happy a good photographer can be on the moon and still take great shots . Check out Leli Photo on this site he had some beautiful shots from the Watermill because I remember the gazebo in the back which is so beautiful . Good Luck remember its your wedding do it like you want catering hall recommened vendors pay to be there.
