I have a question to anyone who was married at the Watermill... I am ALMOST certain that they said they decorate the chapel outside... I plan to talk with Samantha the coordinator about what that specifically means but figured I could probably also get some honest answers here.. How do they decorate out there? Do you get to give them a color scheme? Do they or do I need to provide the aisle runner? I guess I just want to know how much they do for the outside and what will be left for me to do... Any help would be appreciated!

I just went back and checked my pictures, the only thing they did was hang white flowers over the arch. Their was no runner, the urns were planted with flowers. It was very pretty, I did not do any additional decorating.
My suggestion to you would be to go there sometime in the next couple of weeks and see what is in bloom so you can see how it will look next year. Then you will know if you wamt to do any additional decorating.

I actually just went to see if you had posted any pics from your wedding, I noticed you didn't have the linens on the table, I'm not big on that kind of thing but my mother hates the linens there and I didn't know removing them altogether was an option, I am going to show her this photo later to see what she thinks! Thanks again.

The tableclothes were black and I had pink napkins. When I went in to bring my mom back, Samantha showed us around and I mentioned to my mom the linens and Samantha said 'Oh that's not possible, we don't do that for weddings, it's white or off white only!' I started to laugh and said well there's always a first because it's in my contract! That was one of the thing's that I stressed with my DOC's - when they confirmed with the watermill that week they made sure the linens would be correct. let me know if you want to see some of the ceremony site.
