Water's Edge

My girlfriend just got engaged - I had made an appointment for Water's Edge however, I went to Carlyle and booked so I canceled my appointment there.
I have been trying to help her with her process - does anyone know anything about it?
How is the food - the place - and price????
Does anyone know what they charge for a Friday night wedding?
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I checked them out a couple of years ago.
They require 100 person minimum and charge 100/head (in 1999, it's probably more now).

The place is called Wedding Central by Zagat's. They don't do free tastings, you have too go for dinner and pay. If you book with them, they'll put your meal cost towards the wedding.
Back then they required that you use their florist only.

They have several rooms, plus if you want to do the ceremony, they have a nice outdoor space w/ a view of the city. Also, they have a boat which will bring your guests over form the city. I can't remember what the cost of that was.

We never went for a tasting becasue we couldn't meet the minimun and it was outside our budget. But it's a nice place, even if the location is a bit industrial.
