My then BF took me there for Valentinme's day day soem years ago. I didn;t think it was very romantic at all!

i would go on a night other then valentines day i went one year and it was a circus and for the money the food wasnt nearly as good as it should have been. i have been back since then on a non occasion night and the food was better and it was more relaxed.

Hmmm... i kinda need both for V-Day!
Good food is like good sex.. somehow... but I just don't know how.... I'm still innocent like that.... haha

Hubby took me there for VD Day..it was just OK, I wouldn't go back.... limited menu for the evening and nothing outragous that you would absolutely LOVE to eat..

I keep posting that I love this place because I got engaged there but I was just reading the posts above and got thinking. When we went it was September. We sat outside, with soft piano music playing, swans swimming by us (yes swans) and an unbelievable view of Manhattan from our table right on the water. Maybe this place is nicer in the summer. Plus we didn't do a price fix. That may make a difference too. Ok, that was my unbiased opinion.
