Has anyone had their reception at the Water's Edge in LIC, or been to a wedding there? Would you recommend it to a future bride? I've come across some bad reviews, but they are old, and so I was hoping to hear from someone who has had their reception there recently. Thank you!

Same. We went there for our first Valentine's Day together and it was fantastic.
My coworker got married there last March. I will get a more specific review tomorrow, but as far as I know, he was VERY happy!

A friend of mine was married there are it was beautiful. Great view. After the reception they had a boat cruise that left from the RH and I believe was arranged though them as well.

the food is great, the staff very amazing. it is a little expensive but your paying for the view. However I personally feel they need to renovate the rooms cuz they are a little run down. but in the dark it isnt noticable

my parents good friends got married there about 10 years ago.. but then they said it was amazing and best wedding they have been to.. the food was out of this world and it was a beautiful place,, I also have a client who is very picky about things and he even recommended I check it out.. :)

My bestfriends got married there and it was beautiful. The room is nice the view is amazing and the food was delicious.
I highly recommend it.

My good friend has his wedding this summer. The food was good and the reception was nice with good service. The views surpass most venues.

My friend had her reception there and it was AMAZING!!! :) Everything was out of this world- one of the best I have been too....and they rented a big boat for the after party that picked up mostly the young crowd and took us out to the statue of liberty and back....fabulous!!
