Water's Edge in Long Island City

Hi everyone,

We just booked Water's Edge for September 7th 2007. Has anyone gotten married or been to a wedding there? We fell in love with the place but I'm slightly worried about size. We're having between 120-150 people and I was wondering if the cocktail hour would be crowded. Also, how is it set up. Are there tables? I know they split the reception room in half for it and I just fear it will not be enough room There is the option to have it outside but there is a set up fee and its already way more than we wanted to spend. Anything anyone can tell me about this orthe place in general would be ahuge help. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost booked the Water's Edge. The food is fantastic and the view is incredible.

I had some question as to how it would work with the cocktail hour in the room broken off the main dining room. Also, we have a lot of guests from out of town so I didn't know where to have them stay.

I would be a little worried about the shuffle between the two rooms (if you have to have it indoors) but the food, service, & view are fantastic!!
