I am going for a BM dress fitting today. The dresses are Watters & Watters. What are your experiences with the sizing? For my wedding and several friends' weddings, we used Dessy or After Six and I know that they size too big. You always have to order one to two sizes smaller than the suggested size.
Is W&W similar? Should I order my normal dress size? Thanks!!

We ordered Watters dresses, but have not received them in yet. Also 2 of my girls are preggos so they are ordering a size bigger. The other 2 seemed to order true to size (we'll see what happens when they come in).
Which dress is it?!

My girls have W&W dresses and according to their measurements, their normal dress size was also their W&W size and they fit pretty well. Some a teeny bit big, some a teeny bit small - but all real close and easily alterable. As a BM, I once had to deal with a Dessy/After Six dress - it was huge and not easy to alter (stupid double satin) - no one was happy, so I just refused to use them for my wedding. Good luck!

Same here - regular size was the W & W size.

i have been in two weddings with watters dresses. for each one, i bought the size their chart recommended and it fit perfectly. i wear a 4 in street clothes and the recommended size was an 8. the 8 was just right both times!

Thanks! Its dress # 665 in cognac with frappucino buttons down the back and the ribbon in frappucino also. I measured a size smaller than my street clothes size and went with it...we'll see
