Wax seals for invites

Anyone doing this?

I am, I made about 75 of the 100 I need, and have to just add them to the invitations. They are pretty easy to do, just need a bit of patience.

edited to say 75 instead of 7, big difference

need more than a bit..I was going to do this but I have no patience so it was not for me.

Really, I got 75 done in an hour, with one of my BM, and I. And she kept messing them up, andouther BM was quality control.

Did you do them off the invite, or right on them?

I didn't do them on the ivite, I did them on this hot glue mat thing, that I got at Michaels for like $3. It was sucha better thing to do, becasue some of them got messed up. You then take them and hot glue them to the invitation

I was thinking of trying this. How exactly do you do this? And what is the mat you bought to attach them to the invites? Thanks!

I bought faux wax at Michaels, a glue gun pad and the stamper at Micheals.

You put the faux wax sticks in the hot glue gun and sqeeze out about a dime size amount of glue, wait 10 seconds and then press the seal into the faux wax, until it releases easily.

In between stamping, put in ic water, it will release better form the glue.

Then hot glue the seals to the envelope.

There are insutructions on the faux wax that I bought at Michaels but they only had silver and gold, there areother places to get the faux wax though too, can't remember where though.

It is really easy to do, just have to perfect the amoutn of glue you squirt out, and then it will go quickly.

I bought two stampers so that someone can hellp me, becasue there would be alot of down time, waiting for the stamp.

I am lucky though, one of my friends loves to hot glue anything and everything, so I had a lo0t of help from her,
