wax seals through the mail- info needed!

I just finished putting wax seals on my TY cards. And, I just thought, 'hey, what if the post office has a problem with these?!'

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Success stories are also welcome!

Re: anyone have problems sending anything with wax seals through the mail?

I had wax seals on my invites, and they didn't hold up well. I learned too late to use hot glue to make the seals rather than wax. The wax is more brittle and breaks/cracks in the mail.

My FH and I each received an invite once with the wax seals on it. The seal on mine fell off before it even got to me, and left a mark on the envelope, and my FH's was cracked and roughed up, we couldn't even tell what it was supposed to be.

i used wax seals on my invites and ALL of my guests received them and were BLOWN away. they were all in tact.

my suggestion - invest in a really good sealing wax. i got mine from arthur brown in manhattan, they have a website. the brand of wax is aladine.

FM me for more info.

I just sent out mine with wax seals and they arrived perfectly! Just make sure the PO hand stamps them insead of running them through the machine and you'll have no problem.
