I shave my pits (lol) But they still look dark and are never totally smooth like on models. So..I was thinking that waxing would work b/c it pulls the hair out from the root.
Am I crazy?

Re: Waxing-- weird question
I've never waxed, but somtimes i use Nair stuff for armpits. It looks like a stick of deoderant, and itches a bit, but your pits look cleaner cause it melts the hair under the surface too.

Yeah you can, but it's amazing the power of a great tweezer can assist you with such a problem. I've been getting waxed since I was in H.S. 1st time I warn you you hurts like a bast%d. Then it's a walk in the park. Make certain to tell them to make the wax as cool as possible. Good luck!!!

Re: Waxing-- weird question
I JUST asked my manicurist about pit waxing Thats soo funny you asked. I haven't had it done yet, but I'm definately going to try it this week. She said it isn't that painful, and is very quick. Cause I don't want any, how do you say shadow under my pits in my pictures Glad you brought it up

My estitician (spelling) says the more you wax that area, the less grows back. I got an estimate today for laser hair removal.......................$900

has anyone ever waxed their underarms?
Is it REALLY painful?

I plan on starting the whole waxing process in March.. and I am doing my underarms too.. never did it b4 so I figure why not add it to the list of waxable places!!!!

Re: Waxing-- weird question
I've done it in the past and it hurts like a B*#%H Your hair does grow back slower but in the beginning you have to do it like twice a week because hair grows in cycles. If you shave you ruin it and it grows back thick again and you have to endure that pain again! All that being said, I think I might start up again for the wedding.
