Way too early contractions?

Way too early contractions?

Yesterday when laying on the couch, my entire belly became very tight...and started cramping...like serious period pains. I walked around for a bit and drank a lot of water...after about 1 minute, the cramps subsided and then I was ok.

Are these the Braxton-Hicks contractions that I've been reading about???

BH arent painful. Maybe it was a real contraction.

I had those when I was PG but they weren't painful. Just VERY tight.

That's what I also wanted to mention...my whole belly felt tight, the skin and everything...

Your belly will definately tighten with BH, and mine were alittle uncomfortable, but not PAINFUL. Just keep a close watch

Could you be dehydrated?? My dr keeps telling me it's very easy to have preterm contractions in the summer if you don't drink enough water...

Everyone always told me that Braxton Hicks were not supposed to hurt...but mine hurt like like hell! They got worse each week.

If it hurt like a menstrual cramp, it does sound like a real contraction. It's definitely possible for you to begin feeling random contractions at this time. My Dr just told me yesterday that I could begin feeling them at any time and I am only 31 wks. I would keep an eye on them because you should be having more than a very few random ones per day.
