Booted a bridesmaid?

I'm at 2 weeks out and I had to ask my Maid of Honor to be a bridesmaid. She has shown no insterest and has caused me so much grief that I just don't want her to be my MOH.

This is so hard...

Well, she has declared our friendship over - after 25 years. She told me that I am rude, and petty and she doesn't need this...

37 minutes...

At least it is done now and I won't have to regret for the rest of my life that I included her...

Wanted to very badly, but to keep drama at a minimum I just dealt with her. Haven't spoke to her since my wedding, and it really doesn't bother me.

I wanted to, and i did, and i took her back ( she is FH cousins wife ) it caused alot of drama in the family...

No. But I was booted. But we were about 6 months out from the wedding. The bride, myself and another girl were not seeing eye to eye and she kicked us both out.

Oddly enough, we've become WAY better friends because of it.

Throughout this WHOLE process I would have done things VERY differently. I wouldn't have asked some people I (prematurely) did... and I definitely would have asked other people instead... and you know who you are

She is trying to make me feel like a jerk, but she hasjust been so hurtful. I don't want to look back with regret at our marriage license or video becuase of having her in that position.

I am not trying to Boot her completely, just not be be MOH...

I did and it was a wonderful decision. She was bringing so much toxic energy to the experience and now that she is out of the equation, I feel lighter and happier. I also think there is something to be said for being proactive and taking charge of your own happiness. I did tell her to not come to the wedding because of the situation - that I have mixed feelings about - but that's another story....

I actually did....

Our friendship just became very draining, so I kicked her out and replaced her with someone else then we didn't see eye to eye and she left the party.

The girl that I replaced the original with we are back on speaking terms. We worked past a lot of stuff.

I booted 2!!!!!

They were being too aloof and neither had a good excuse for missing our e-party...it was held in the town they live in...I'm the one who drove 600 miles to be there.

i feel really bad but the good thing is at least u know now what kind of person she is & look at it this way at least she didnt ruin your actually wedding!!!!

i booted one, i'm so glad i did! she was making me so frustrated and angry!!!! i would call her and email her and she would never respond! and then she moved out of state so i knew it was gonna be even harder to get stuff done with her! so i gave her the boot! and i'm so glad i did because she turned out to be a 2 faced beyotch who talked about me behind my back!!!

so sorry you're upset about losing her. after 25 years, i hope you guys are able to work it out...
