We are officially in contract - what happens now???

YEAH!!!!! We just heard from the lawyer that the sellers have signed and returned the contracts! We are in contract!


What now?? The closing date is set for January 31, but I kinow it can be within 30 days of that.

What do we do now?

Congrats!!!

Did you have an engineers inspection and a termite inspection yet? Those are the first two things I did once in contract.

Then it was the mortgage, and home owners insurance.

Your lawyer should be able to tell you what other things you may have to do. I am in contract also and still clueless-go figure!!!

We did the inspection and the termite inspection. The mortgage is taken care of so I guess I should start looking for home owner's insurance!

We just signed up with Liberty Mutual- they were really easy to deal with.
