We are VERY close to booking Cassarino

I am VERY excited about the package we're getting from them - we are getting so much for such a great price!

Scoop told me a horror story, and I know TammyJill has things to say about them (good and bad), but I want to hear what the rest of you think!

I went to see them this week. They had a good package but I don't think I'll be using them.
All I can say is, if they made you happy and you love what they are doing for you then it's perfect. You need to be confident with the package, the price and the photographer (the 3-P's!) ... Congratulations on finding one that suits your needs!

I've had a pretty good experience with Cassarino. I got the photographer I wanted (Nickolai) and my pics were gorgeous.
I rated them a 9 b/c I didnt get a couple of shots I wanted but it was my own fault b/c I never told him about them.

If you like the pics they take, go for it. I got a great package, and I feel pretty confident my album will be gorgeous - I LOVE my proofs

Things to keep in mind:

They take about 9 months to complete the album
Get all your extras and freebies as much as you can before you sign the contract

My BF used them for her November 2002 wedding. She liked the quality of her work but she JUST got her album and video THIS WEEK. She says the quality is good but the service is not. Also, she used Joe Cassarino for her wedding and he was great but according to her, she just found out that he officially retired and is only available by request/consult.

I booked them for my June wedding. I really liked their style and one photographer in particular - Nickolai. We booked him and a photojournalist. That's great to hear Liz used him too!!!

Time wise - the proofs should come right away, but the album will take a while. But all albums seems to take a while in talking to my married friends. Depending on the time of year and when you can get in for an appointment for the layout consulation this may slow down even more.

If it feels right go for it!

I have loved working with them thus far BUT I am getting a little anxious. My proofs won't be ready until the end of the month (4 weeks after wedding). They do greta work but be PATIENT.

I must be a lucky one, my proofs were ready when about 2 1/2 weeks after my wedding

BTW, get ready to see ME !!!!
They are using me and hubby to make a SAMPLE Album !!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited !!!!!

my sister used them . they were great but there were a lot of pictures from far away, no real up close ones of her and her fiance. make sure you specify certain shots you want. Her pics were very pretty she got bw also.

the only thing i remember is they take longer in getting the pictures to you(ie mine gives proofs in 2 weeks,and album 4 to 5 months from when you order it)... i know they take longer

I used them the first time around and had Joe Cassarino shoot my wedding. He was great, a true professional. I think we had about 500 proofs. The pics came out awesome, one or two shots they missed (veil/light shot) and a church silouhette, but otherwise we were quite pleased.

We had our proofs back by the time we got back from our honeymoon (about 2 1/2 weeks later). The album we got about 7 months later.

We were quite pleased. They did our video also and really worked with us.
