We booked!!

We booked our RH.. The Hamlet Golf and Country Club for 5/27/2011 !!!!!

Im so happy with our choice.. it is the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.

I am totally in with this place!

thanks ladies! we booked yesterday and it was exactly one month since we got engaged. it totally feels real now.. i keep referring to him as my boyfriend still though! lol.
hopefully ill get used to that soon!

question... are u concerned with the traffic that day? my church is in queens and im thinking we might hit some traffic since its the friday of a holiday weekend. im probably worrying about this wayyy too soon but thinking how to time it all.

I haven't thought about it too much but I guess I am a little nervous about the traffic for guests getting to the church... But after that my church is only 20 minutes from HWC so that shouldn't be a problem... I'm sure yours will be fine! What time is your ceremony? That could make a difference...

Here's the thing.. I havent booked my church yet. I know I know.. everyone says do that first. So we are slightly backwards. I am not really THAT worried about it though. I dont have any particular church in mind. So we are bound to find someplace.
We are having a lot of out of town guests. So we're renting a bus for them. The cocktail hour is tentatively set for 630p. They told me I could switch it around to whatever I want since there's only one event at a time.
So I'm thinking church should start maybe 330p??
The drive from queens to the hamlet is about 40-45mins without traffic. I dont want there to be too much time between the church and cocktail hour since we will have a bus load of people with nothing to do in between.
