We booked!!! Finally!!

I just wanted to thank you all so much for all the postive advice and help. FH and I finally booked and found a hall that satisfied all of our needs. I have been to many halls and many of them were fantastic, I have been to about 15 halls. We were very very picky about the food. The Hall we have chosen issssss.......The historical thatched cottage in centerport, we love how its owned by ONE owner and the food is cooked on the premise and everything is made fresh (not frozen)The food is AMAZING!!! We are so happy and excited. They ar e building an entire new cocktail room and threw in a chocolate fountain. The price is great for what we are getting. We get 7 choices of entree's and 35 diff passes ordourves. They include personalized menus! A mash potato bar, a sushi chef , gyro station or a mexican station along with 2 pasta chafing dishes and international cheeses....... They have frozen drinks and a gorgeous outside patio over looking the north shore.

The only downside is that We decided to book our wedding for Sept of this year...yes six and a half months away So i am no longer an 08 bride!! I still would love to post with you 08'rs if thats okay!!
We have been too almost every place you could imagine on long island....

We Highly recommend: Westbury manor Especially for its romantic and cozy setting, Timberpoint Mansion beautiful view and fantastic price ( just too small for us), Coral house ( amazing food, great price) oh and larkfield manor is very nice and great price too!!!

We are going to have a photographer....but we are hiring someone that Rob knows just for an hour or two. I just dont want to be bothered. I dont want a thousand pictures to choose from I just want like 50 in a book. We havent decided if we want a video yet...that will be a last minute decision!!! We are probably getting married at Thatched cottage...they have a beautiful gazebo over looking the water. Who do you like for a dj? you can fm me prices
