We made our decision...JoVon. Loved the worked we saw, and booked on the spot w/ Telmo. Barry was our sales rep, very nice,and great sence of humor.We are also using them for video as well. AND we booked the church! I know we did it backwords, but we were thinking of getting married at the Carlyle. Now all that's left to do is my dress, the girls dresses, and flowers. Then of course ALL the details. But at least the vendors are booked. Now we have a year and three months to do the rest. Continued success to all.

I think they start at $4,000 for the basic package. The 'extras' will be added on for additional cost.The digital video is $2,600. We are getting: our album-50 flush pics (10x12) 2 parent albums-26 pics (6x8) 1- 11x14 2- 8x10 125 wallet thank you cards 400-600 proofs main photographer w/ 1 asst.(10hrs) engagement shoot 3 edited videos videographer(8hrs) One great thing about JoVon is your final balance is not due until receipt of proofs. Worked with Chris and had my photos shot in the studio w/ JoVon(who is a royal ****) Chris was rude made comments like my house was small, these are cramped spaces etc. Guess he was used to more wealthy clients. When we got to the studio JoVon literally yelled at his whole staff....mind you this was in front of my 35 family members who joined us for the shoot. From there on it was a horror, my mom had to tell Chris to get up and take pictures at my reception After the wedding we called to complain and my call was put off by 4 different snotty receptionists because they didn`t want to deal with it. Well to this day I still am missing a shot of my parents alone, godparents, limo shot, and a good front church shot--which were all reviewed with my photographer. I know I worked with a lousy photographer(Chris) but I thought for such a professional place that my problems would of been dealt with more.....By the way I had them for video too and I absolutely love my video!!! I recently sent them $100 for my negatives that were threatened to be throw out unless I paid to have them. Overall like I said my results were lovely but for that price I would of liked better costumer service.

I have some friends that used Telmo as their photographer. They were extremely happy with him the day of the wedding and the pictures afterwards.

Telmo is great!!! You have nothing to worry about. We chose to work with John, but Telmo was our second choice.

Thanks ladies, it's always good to hear ALL of the opinions. We help each other in future situations! Ella,I'm sorry you had such a negative experience. That is terrible, and they should compensate you in some way for your troubles. I only hope we don't experience this. Thank goodness we didn't pick Jon. Wishing you continued success.

John was GREAT!!! I used him and thought his style was perfect. I never saw him throughout the reception, but he got great pics.
